311 Carpentry Summer Program at Barringer High School
The Newark 311 Carpentry Program was held at Barringer High School, located at 90 Parker Street, in Newark’s North Ward, run under the 2023 Newark Summer Youth Employment Program. The program emphasizes the importance of carpentry in as a critical foundation in Newark's construction projects, and Mayor Ras Baraka highlights the program's role in providing training and career opportunities for high school youth.
