Procedures for choir

Procedures:

1. Students will dispose of gum, candy, and other edible substances prior to entering the room.

2. Students will enter the room, put all non-choir items away on the back of their chair, get materials, and go to their seat.

3. Students will use pencil sharpener before the tardy time if needed or when there is a free time.

4. Students must stay within their assigned seating area. Space is very limited.

5. Students communicate at level of zero- no talking at the sound of the bell (non-verbal)

6. Students are silent when teacher begins to approach the center of the room and participating when Rehearsal Warm-up begins.

7. Students are expected to participate to the best of their ability.

8. Students will leave their seats only after they have obtained permission to do so.

9. Students are responsible for going to the restroom between classes. Any student having a medical condition must bring a note from a parent.

10. Students will talk only after they have raised their hand and been recognized by the teacher.

11. Folders or equipment must be put back in order before the bell.

12. The teacher, not the bell, will dismiss students.
