As we look to change the face of education in our province there is a need to remiagine what learning looks like, particularly in our rural communities where there are often less educational opportunities that exist outside of traditional school systems. Deep Learning, with a focus on project based learning (PBL) and social entrepreneurship, will help us to reimagine learning as well as decrease the inequities that exist for many students growing up in rural communities. According to the UN"s Sustainable Devlopment: Goal 4, a Quality Education is key to improving socieioeconomic outcomes and a key to escaping poverty.
