When teaching speech sounds, Speech-Language Pathologists follow a pattern as outlined below. Starting on level 1 and working through to level 6. Children may progress quickly at some levels but may need more practice at other levels. Also, children may 'warm-up' with a easier level and then move to practice at a level that is more difficult for them. Your Speech-Language Pathologist can let you know what level(s) your child is working at.
