It is recommended that students complete English 1201 and English 2201 before attempting English 3201.

English 3202 is designed for students entering Level lll who continue to require extra support to strengthen essential literacy skills. Students participate in practical and engaging learning experiences as they respond personally, critically, and creatively to a variety of texts of increasing complexity based on their interests, abilities, and learning needs.

Writing 2203
This course offers students an opportunity to create texts as a means of personal expression as well as a method of communication. Students will learn to adapt their writing for a specific purpose and audience. This course emphasizes the characteristics of effective writing as well as the processes of writing in a variety of text forms. Students will develop ideas and express them effectively, clearly and precisely with emphasis on the modes of writing. They will practice specific skills inherent in inquiry and research processes and create texts which extend their learning. The emphasis throughout this course is on the development of students’ writing skills through extended practice, analysis, feedback, and revision.
