Walk To The North Pole
We are pleased to share that Eastside Elementary will be hosting a Walk to the North Pole Walk-A-Thon fundraising event from December 1st to December 19th. This initiative is designed to promote physical activity and wellness while helping us raise funds to support technology upgrades that will enhance student engagement and learning.
Our fundraising goal is $5,000 or more, which will allow us to replace the outdated projector and purchase a new screen for our gymnasium. These upgrades will significantly improve the experience of school concerts, assemblies, presentations, and special events for our entire school community.
Students are encouraged to seek sponsorships from family and friends as they participate in our Walk to the North Pole throughout the month of December. All walking will take place during recess and lunch, as well as during some scheduled gym classes, and every step helps us move closer to our distance and fundraising goals.
Important Dates
November 24, 2025 – Pledge sheets will be sent home with students.
December 10, 2025 – All pledge forms and collected funds should be returned to the classroom teacher in a sealed zip-lock bag.
December 1 to December 19, 2025 – Students will complete their Walk to the North Pole.
December 19, 2025 – Students who raise $50 or more will have their names entered into a prize draw. There will be three draws in total.
