The following is a reflection of the school supplies our students will need for the school year. As the year progresses, it will be necessary to replenish these supplies as they are consumed. Parents/guardians may wish to purchase additional supplies throughout the summer as they find them on sale.

(English & Early French Immersion) The following is a list of basic school supplies that our kindergarten students will need to start off the school year. As the year progresses, it will be necessary to replenish these supplies as they are consumed. You may wish to purchase additional supplies throughout the summer as you find them on sale.
A book bag – a zippered knapsack is the easiest for young children to carry and one that is large enough to carry bigger items (i.e., library books, art work, etc.).
Sneakers – Velcro closures are best unless your child can tie his/her own shoelaces. Sneaker boots are unsuitable as children cannot easily put them on or take them off;
On PE days, your child should wear appropriate clothing for physical activity (i.e., gym pants, sweat or t-shirts, and non-marking sneakers);
3 pks. crayons (box of 24);
2 pk. washable markers;
4 dry earase markers (black fine tip)
1 pk. HB pencils (sharpened);
1 pencil sharpener (please label);
1 pair of metal scissors with rounded tips (please label);
4 glue sticks (40-gram size so they last longer);
2 erasers;
1 hard shell pencil case (please label);
1 water bottle (please label));
headphones [not earbuds] (in a labelled Ziploc bag); and,
1 studio scrapbook (30 page - 30.4cm x 25.4 cm - please label).
You should also provide a complete change of clothing for your child in a labeled Ziploc bag to be kept at school. This will save a tremendous amount of time if “accidents” or spills occur.
NOTE: Our kindergarten teachers are always on the lookout for donations of wipes, Ziploc bags (large), and tissues. If you are in a position to donate any of these items, it would be tremendously appreciated.
