Discipline Policy

• • • Inappropriate Behavior: tardies, talking out of turn, disrespect to others, disregard for NLCS handbook policies, or being off task during class

    • Chromebook Misuse: gaming, watching youtube, being on the Chromebook without permission, abusing the Chromebook, uncharged Chromebook, or simply using the Chromebook for non-educational purposes

1st occurrence / Warning -- Teacher Emails Parent

2nd occurrence / Lunch Detention -- Teacher Contacts Parent

3rd occurrence / Lunch Detention -- Parent Conference Scheduled by Phone

4th occurrence / In-School Suspension -- Notifies Parent

5th occurrence / Student will be sent to the office for continued behavior issues and consequences will be discussed with Mr. Underwood.

• • • Students are expected to comply with the "Dress Code" during the school day and at all school activities. When a student is out of compliance with the school’s dress code, the student will be sent to the counselor's office for corrective action.
