Getting from the airport to the Robert Treat Hotel

From the Newark Liberty International Airport, a short cab ride will take you to the Robert Treat hotel. Alternatively, public transportation by train is available from the terminal to Newark Penn Station ($8.25, see brochure), then either walk a few blocks to the hotel or take the Newark Light Rail to the Military Park Station (first stop, $0.7 Underground Fare) and walk one block.

Getting to the NJIT Campus from the Robert Treat Hotel

The NJIT campus is located within walking distance from the Robert Treat Hotel (0.6 miles) via Central Avenue .

If public transportation is preferred, we recommend a short walk (0.3 miles)   from the hotel to the Military Park Light Rail Station (underground), from where  the second stop is the Warren Street/NJIT Station ($0.70 Underground Fare), which is located in front to one of the campus entrances.  To get to the Campus Center or the Eberhardt Hall, you may walk around the construction site to reach the campus green, or  enter the building  in front of the station and exit it the  other side on the campus green.

NJIT Parking Deck

If you are driving a car,  parking for the workshop participants has been reserved in the NJIT parking deck located on  154 Summit Street. Please contact Ms. Cheryl James (cheryl.james@njit.edu, 973-596-5376) to request parking access.
