Shubhankar Majumdar (Senior Member, IEEE) received the Ph.D. degree in RF microelectronics from the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, Kharagpur, India, in 2016. Since December 2017, he has been an Assistant Professor with the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, National Institute of Technology Meghalaya, Shillong, India. He has authored over 100 articles published in renowned journals, book chapters, peer-reviewed conferences, and two granted patents. He is currently supervising 12  Ph.D. scholars. He has successfully guided 4 PhD, 20 UG and 5 PG scholars. He has received 15 sponsored projects worth more than $1 million. His research interests include GaN-based power amplifier design, device circuit co-design framework, semiconductor device modeling, Internet of Things, artificial intelligence, device automation, circuits, and systems. Dr. Majumdar received several awards, such as Visvesvaraya young faculty research fellow (YFRF) sponsored by Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) in 2025, Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions Seal of Excellence Award from the European Commission in 2018, etc. He has been a Technical Program Committee Member in IEEE’s international conferences, including VLSID, VDAT, iSES, VLSIDCS, and DeVIC. He is also the Faculty Advisor of the IEEE MTT-S and Joint CAS/CEDA/System/Sensor Student Branch Chapter at NIT Meghalaya. He is mentor of a startup namely Soil agritech private limited.
