In order to improve communication with parent(s)/guardian(s), the district has implemented a new mass notification system, School Messenger. This system will be used for both emergency notifications, as well as for more general informational announcements from the district and individual schools.
School Messenger supports voice calls, email messages and text messages to cell phones. In order to support this, our new Returning Student Enrollment process will be specifically asking for SMS (text) capable numbers for all parent(s)/guardian(s).
In addition, parent(s)/guardian(s) will be able to specify contact preferences via the Parent/Student Portal by clicking on the new "School Messenger" link.
