Parent Portal Support

The PowerSchool Parent/Student Portal is now open for all parents, grades K-12. Parents will use an "Access ID" to create their own personalized account, which can be linked to multiple students. Students are given their own separate account, managed by the school district. [More Information]

The district has partnered with InfoSnap (recently acquired by PowerSchool, LLC) to provide a secure online form for parents to provide important updates to student information each school year. This online process allows the district to collect information before the school year starts, insuring that all critical information is up-to-date when students arrive on the first day. In order to insure the best possible communication with parents and community members, the district has implemented a new communication service, School Messenger. This new system allows district staff to efficiently and reliably communicate with parents in an emergency, and provide regular updates on school events and items of interest. Best of all, parents are empowered to manage their own communications preferences directly through the Parent Portal. [More Information]

The district is expanding use of the WebEdge Student Portfolio system, to provide parents with immediate online access to NYS test results, and local NWEA test results in grades 3-8. Given the potential for significant savings in printing and mailing costs, the district is investigating options for including additional reports via this link on the Parent Portal, at all grade levels.
