Bedadyuti Vedvyas Pati

Vedvyas was born and brought up in the Bhadrak district of Odisha. He received his B.Sc. Honors in Chemistry from N.C. (Autonomous) College (Utkal University, BBSR) in 2013 (Rank 1). He then completed his Master's degree at Ravenshaw University in 2015 (Rank 1). After his M.Sc, he joined Prof. Ponneri C. Ravikumar's group at National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), Bhubaneswar in July 2016 for his Ph.D. He is currently working on transition metal-catalyzed C-C and C-H bond activation to get novel biologically relevant heterocyclic molecules. Apart from research, he is keenly interested in participating in various debates, essay, and quiz competitions. He is a die-hard fan of Sadh guru Jaggi Vasudev and loves listening to his lecturers.
