In science classes, we use a hands-on approach to help our students better understand concepts and apply what they've learned. NIS middle school students were tasked by Ms. Gerlyn with creating their own bird's nests to protect eggs. Students worked in groups to construct a safe and long-lasting nest out of cardboard, plastic, tree branches, and leaves.
