(make sure it’s the correct instrument!)
Just type: Foundation for Superior Performance and your student instrument into amazon searchbar
“Other” full band items: please make sure your beginner band items are in good condition as well as new batteries, reeds and oils. Not all products are created equal! Talk to your student about their needs now!
Tuner: KORG TM60C tuner and mic
Pack of AAA batteries for Tuner and Mic (they run low after lots of use!)
REEDS! For single and double reed only. Everyone needs NEW reeds going into the new year. Please email Mrs. Quinlan if you do not know what you need to purchase.
Trumpet, Euph, Tuba: Al Cass Valve Oil or blue juice
Trombone: your student should have a ton of Trombotine left, and a water spray bottle. Email Vokey if lost and she can send link.
Horn: Hetman Rotor Oil
*The school will purchase new black binders, warmups and pencil pouches with band fees later.*
Old Band Binder <-- this is VERY IMPORTANT
Please make sure your student can find their last year band binder and brings it the first day of school. We will purchase new ones and transition over by September but we always need to start with their old one. We will play the first week of school so get those instrument in tip-top shape NOW!
Practicing
Have you practiced? Dust it off – get going again – play the summer packet you have. Ditties, scales, Blues Machine and Never Gonna Give you Up are some good ideas. See meme for motivation ;)
