About Ms. McCarty
Howdy!
My name is Jenna McCarty, and I am from Sunset, Texas. I grew up on a dairy farm, which my parents and brother still own and operate. I graduated from Texas A&M University with a B.S. in Agricultural Science and later earned a M.S. in Agriculture Education from East Texas A&M University. This is my 10th year in education. I taught GED classes for 2 years, taught Ag Science at Muenster ISD for 5 years, and this will be my 3rd year here at Northwest. I have taught most agriculture science pathway classes throughout my career and currently teach the Animal Science Pathway classes (Livestock Production, Vet Science Application, Adv. Animal Science, and Practicum of AFNR).
In my free time, I enjoy quilting and spending time with my two dogs, Athena and Leopold (Leo).
