About Ms. Howeth
Howdy! My name is Karleigh Howeth, and I’m from Madisonville, Texas. I grew up actively involved in my hometown FFA chapter, participating in public speaking events, showing market rabbits, and engaging in community service. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Sciences from Texas A&M University in December 2018, followed by a Master of Science in Agricultural and Consumer Resources from Tarleton State University in May 2020.
This year marks my sixth year in education. I began my teaching career in Agricultural Science in Livingston, where I taught for two years, and the 2025–2026 school year will be my fourth year at Northwest High School. My passion for floral design has not only shaped my teaching style but also deepened my appreciation for creativity and the vital role this industry plays within agriculture.
Outside of the classroom, I’m engaged to my wonderful fiancé, Mykel, and we share our home with two dogs—Scout and Winnie. In my free time, I enjoy reading and attending live music events.
