Students are able to access learning applications, such as Lexia, Imagine Math, and many other great programs. Go to www.nisdtx.org . Then click on Students (www.nisdtx.org/#students-tab) . Choose Portal from the options provided. Students can log in with their username and password. It is the same as how they log in at school .
Homework goes home on Fridays and needs to be returned on Thursdays. Other activities your child can do at home are Lexia, Imagine Math, Education Galaxy and reading!
Students are required to complete 30 minutes and 6 units of Lexia each week! This will be recorded as a grade each week in HAC & your child's yellow folder. We want our students to grow as readers, and Lexia will help reinforce/practice their skills.
Students should be completing lessons on Imagine Math each week! Rewards for completing lessons each week are handed out on Friday!
As we move closer to the holidays and our breaks, please review our behavior expectations and Chromebook contract. We appreciate your support from home!
