January Social Emotional Focus
Personal Well-Being
For the month of January, we are focusing on the importance of personal well-being during Morning Meetings and throughout our school. Personal well-being is defined as, "being able to know the skills needed to take care of your body and mind in all situations and scenarios. Topics focus on stress management, resiliency, coping skills, growth vs. fixed mindset, healthy living choices, and personal boundaries.
Classroom and School Guidance Learning Targets:
1. I will learn and practice ways to calm down.
2. I will be able to name my coping skills.
3. I will know the difference between a healthy and unhealthy choice.
