Reading: We will continue working in Fiction reading and talking about character traits, elements of plot, and theme. We are reading the book "Frindle" in class.

Writing: We will continue to write narrative and fiction pieces as we work through the writing process. Our focus will be to include a plot (problem and solution), using the setting to improve our story, and adding dialogue to make our stories better. 

Grammar: We will continue reviewing nouns and focus on proper nouns. 

Social Studies: We will discuss the importance of voting.

Math: This week we will be working on estimating and finding exact sums and differences using the standard algorithm. 

Science: This week we will expand our study of properties of matter and explore how to classify matter.
