C. Noël Wilson, LCSW-S

Intervention Counselor - Eaton High School

About Me

Hello everyone! My name is Noël Wilson, and I am so excited to serve as your first Intervention Counselor at Eaton High School! I have been in education since 2009, helping students through social, emotional, and/or behavioral concerns, and assisting their families through all of the different challenges life throws at them. I also have experience in foster care, grief counseling, and hospital social work, am trained in CISM and QPR, and am a Certified Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist. My passion has always been to help children and teens, and I love every single moment of it.

I went to THE Ohio State University (O-H!) where I received my Bachelor's of Science in Social Work degree; I later received my Master's of Science in Social Work at UT Arlington. I am married, have two little kiddos, and have two dogs.

My door is always open. Feel free to contact me or stop by at any time!

What Is an Intervention Counselor?

Think of the counseling office as a doctor's office. Your counselor is like your primary care physician, who you would go to for academics, college/career, or social/emotional needs. Sometimes, your doctor may refer you to a specialist to better assist a specific need; that's where I come in!

My main purpose is to be additional support for you and your family. I provide specialized services to address the student's emotional, social, and/or behavioral needs in the academic setting. Services can include crisis intervention, individual counseling, group counseling, and other direct or indirect services to students and families. My overall goal is to enhance the student's emotional, social, and/or behavioral performance and participation both in school and in life.
