This year, I extended on the open environment of the library. Students enjoy spending time in the library before school, during recess and during lunch. We have so many student initiated activities going on in the Nance Library.

Maker Space 2017-2018
One goal this year was to implement a Maker Space in the library. The Maker Space was implemented. Students have had time to explore Maker Space during library time as well as during Friday library activities. There have been times when the library has been open for parents to come in and explore the Maker Space items with their students.
Open Environment
The library should be the hub of the school. It should be the place that student love to be. I have worked very hard this year on creating an environment where the students have ownership in the library.
