When: Wednesday March 11th , 10am – 3.30pm. Registration and refreshments from 9.15am.
Where: Salford University, Media City (see map below)
Who: Anyone interested in getting involved in or developing palliative care research particularly across Merseyside, Cheshire, Lancashire, Cumbria and Greater Manchester. This includes clinicians (nurses, doctors, allied health professionals, social care professionals), researchers, researcher managers and more. You can be from any setting - NHS, Hospice, Care Home, Social Care. No need to have research experience to attend.
What: Plenary session, and a mix of presentations including bitesize introductions to research in palliative care and current projects with networking opportunities including research development groups. Check back for full programme, outline below.

11.45am: Planning your research - issues to consider: Small discussion groups focused on research methods and related topics.

1pm: Student and practice research: A series of bitesize presentations.

2 pm Research planning discussions. Join one of our research development group discussions (Heart failure, Paediatrics, Education, Wider settings).
3.30pm: Wrap up - finish by 3.30pm.
