Hospice Research Resources

Whether you are just starting out in hospice research, or have experience being involved in studies, understanding how to plan and conduct a study can be difficult. The purpose of these 'bitesize' resources is to help you to quickly find accessible information.  These resources have been specifically written for people working within UK hospices.

The aim is to guide you through different stages of  a study.  Each bitesize resource has a video around 5-8 minutes long, together with a factsheet. The resources have been arranged around key topics. Click on one of the topic buttons below to be taken to the resources for that topic, or navigate from the drop down menu above.

We have linked to a number of external webpages and resources on our additional research resources page. You may find some helpful information there.

Thank you to the team who worked on managing the creation of these resources from PalCaRe NWC, Lancaster University, Marie Curie, Sue Ryder, Loros, Hospice UK and the CRN. Many different people contributed to recording and writing resources, thank you. The aim is that these will be a living resource. We will add to these over time, and update them when needed. We have worked hard to ensure that these are up to date and accurate, but viewers and readers are advised that they are responsible for checking that the information given remains current and correct
