Systems Alignment for Inclusion

We have identified some opportunities within the systems and processes of the CRN Yorkshire and Humber (CRN Y&H)  to influence the design and delivery of research projects to be inclusive for people from ethnic minority backgrounds.

What are we doing?

Working with the CRN Y&H Study Support Service a standard operating process has been developed to include Ethnic Minority specific discussions relating to study planning and set up. This Early Contact and Engagement process is used during Research Early Contact and Engagement surgeries hosted by the Study Support Service for Chief and Principal Investigators.
