Information on Accommodations Testing

Students may qualify for various individualized accommodations on exams. The objective is to accommodate the student’s physical or learning differences, not to dilute scholastic requirements. Variations in the way that a test is administered (i.e., oral exams, reformatted testing, computer-aided testing, etc.) are dependent upon eligibility.

The academic accommodations form identifies the student as a client of the Accessibility Services office approved for the accommodations listed on the form. Students bring this form to the instructor signed by the Accessibility Services Coordinator. Instructors can contact the coordinator if they have questions.

Students are required to submit an E-form in order to take an exam in the testing center.  The form must be submitted a minimum a three days before the exam. Once the E-form is submitted, the student is added to the testing calendar.  A calendar invite is sent to the student and instructor. The instructor and student should check the day/time that was scheduled to make sure the submission was correct.

48-hours before the exam is to be proctored, the instructor is to fill out an electronic submission form with testing instructions and attaches the exam.  This is then processed by the testing center staff to be ready for administering the exam as scheduled.
