Students with Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD)
Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD), also referred to as Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a neuro-biological disorder that interferes with a person’s ability to sustain attention or focus on a task or delay impulsive behavior. Its core symptoms are inattention, and/or over-activity. Appropriate accommodations are often similar to those recommended for students with learning disabilities.
