To ensure academic programs are maintained to the highest standards of excellence, the College has a program review process that is data-driven and outcomes-based.

The process of program review contributes to the creation of a culture of data-driven reflection and improvement, as well as opportunity for collaboration. Program review is designed to assist departments in self-improvement and communicate strengths and opportunities for growth to various stakeholder groups.

Each year 20% of NICC's programs of study go through Program Review (creating a 5 year cycle in which ALL programs are reviewed consistently). The schedule for Program Review assessment efforts begins during year one (see the graphic in Resources) and continuously evolves. Below is the current schedule for Program Review Assessment efforts.
