To ensure academic programs are maintained to the highest standards of excellence, the College has a program review process that is data-driven and outcomes-based.

The process of program review contributes to the creation of a culture of data-driven reflection and improvement, as well as opportunity for collaboration. Program review is designed to assist departments in self-improvement and communicate strengths and opportunities for growth to various stakeholder groups.

Each year 20% of NICC's programs of study go through Program Review (creating a 5 year cycle in which ALL programs are reviewed consistently). The schedule for Program Review assessment efforts begins during year one (see the graphic in Resources) and continuously evolves.
