At NICC we strive to help our faculty to better understand assessment of learning. This understanding extends beyond simply completing forms, creating tools, or simply meeting the requirements we are tasked to developing an understanding of processes and philosophies so every instructor can value assessment. We do this through regular (monthly) discussions, "Brown Bags", participation in regular faculty development, and providing access to training. ALL faculty have access and are welcome to participate in these activities, but more importantly are welcome to contribute by joining the CLASS team, presenting best practices, and being actively involved.
