Voorhees High School Marching Band

MARCHING BAND INFO

The Voorhees High School Marching Band is a co-curricular offering open to all students in grades 9-12. The Marching Band is one of the most visible groups within the school and community. It is a seasonal activity that begins in the late summer and ends the first week of December.  Rehearsals are typically on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 3:10-5:30 PM (there are a few alterations – see schedule).  The marching band is made up of wind instrumentalists, percussionists, and the color guard. The marching band performs regularly at VHS varsity football games and participates in band competitions through NJMBDA (New Jersey Marching Band Directors Association).

We will once again be participating NYC Columbus Day Parade on October 14, 2024, and the Clinton Holiday Parade on December 6, 2024.

You will be able to find media, links to relevant paperwork, program information, weekly travel plans, and more on this web page. Be sure to check in often for updates!
