To access money and the best loans for College or Trade School complete 

the FAFSA   (Free Application for Federal Student Aid)

1. Create an FSAID username/password account. 

        Who? YOU and a Biological, Adoptive PARENT or step-parent

        unless you are determined to be independent.  

        Who is your parent on the new 2024-25 FAFSA?

        IMPORTANT make sure when creating your FSAID you use exactly the 

        same name that's on your Social Security Card or green card. 

2. Don't lose your username and password. Parents and students, every time you do the FAFSA, you use this same FSAID, forever.

3. Complete the FAFSA application

4. Check back to your FAFSA account later to view possible award or errors 

CSS Profile

Some private colleges (list of schools) require that you also complete the CSS Profile.   Embrace this with glee as it could unlock more scholarship $$.
