Career Connected Pathways

New Haven Public Schools career-connected pathways include a series of advanced courses taught that results in a head start on a technical career or a college credits to apply towards a major in the pathway field. Dual credits are granted after successful course completion. 

Students also have the opportunity to earn industry certifications and/or job training and engage in work-based learning opportunities that align with their career aspirations.

BioCity Pathway

Are you a Cross, Hillhouse or Career High School 10th grade student interested in pursuing a STEM degree in college? 

If so, join BioCity!  

This pathway is a collaboration between NHPS, the City of New Haven, Southern CT State University and CT State. Afternoon classes will take place at 101 College Street in a state of the art Bioscience lab.
