Why is it important for us to go to school? 

What you learn in school will shape the rest of your life. All subjects are equally important in our development.

English and Language Arts teaches us about writing and speech. This is important because speaking, writing, and typing is how we communicate with each other.

Science teaches us about the behavior and structure of our world so we can live better.

Math is everywhere in our world and runs everything. For example, we use math for money, keeping track of time, and statistics.

Social Studies teaches us about what makes people who they are.

History is the study of past successes and failures. History helps us learn from other’s experiences.

Foreign Languages help us understand people from other cultures and allows us to celebrate and appreciate our differences.

Music and Fine Arts open our minds to creativity and allow us to be creative in all that we do.

Sports teach us to work hard, get up when we fall, and compete for what we want.
