Note from the Library

Dear Families/Guardians, 9/2/25

Students will begin checking out library books this week. Kindergarten/1st grade students can check out one book at a time.  The due dates are one week from the day a book is checked out (the next library visit), however, anything may be renewed as long as a student needs it.  We do not charge fines for overdue books, but if a book is lost or damaged beyond repair, the family is responsible for the price of the replacement.

Please review these words with your child each week.  He or she will be asked to read these words on Fridays.  When he or she has mastered the words, a new list will be sent home.  Your child can find kindergarten core words in books that they are reading, spell the words, write the words, read the words, and use them in a sentence.
