Bus Transportation
Students will receive paper Bus Passes from the Main Office which will need to be provided to Bus Drivers in order to board buses. (De-assigned students will be eligible for transportation the following semester.)
The NHCS Transportation Department assigns all student bus stops. The link above connects to their countywide bus information.
RIDERSHIP REQUIREMENTS
Students must ride their route(s) a minimum of three (3) times a week and notify their driver in advance of any schedule changes such as clubs, athletics, and alternating between parental residences, etc.
DE-ASSIGNMENT NOTIFICATION
The NHCS Transportation Department sends notification of students who do not meet the ridership requirements and will lose their bus seat. Students receive paper notifications to take home to parents. Parents with email on file receive electronic notification with a link to notify us of the changes. (Same link as button below.) Parents have three (3) days to notify us before NHCS removes their student from the bus roster for the remainder of the semester.
