At school, we discuss the importance of having a growth mindset. At a basic level, this means that students know that their brains can change and improve and they see challenges as opportunities to grow. Ask your child what they have learned about this in class and keep looking for more information in future newsletters.

The Parent Toolkit is an awesome resource that includes helpful articles and videos, conversation starters, and growth charts for academic, social, emotional, and wellness areas. They have information divided by grade level from Pre-K through 12th grade!
In addition to the games under the "Student Links" tab, you can access free online games at the Math Learning Center that may be helpful and fun for your student.
