About Me

My name is Alissa Cole and this is my third year teaching at Roland-Grise Middle School, and my 9th year teaching in New Hanover County. I am originally from Akron, Ohio and moved to North Carolina in 2012. I graduated from the University of Akron with a B.S. in Middle Level Education with concentrations in Mathematics and Science. I have been married for 10 years and have a 5 year old daughter named Capri. My hobbies include photography, traveling and enjoying the outdoors. My family and I love football and especially The Ohio State Buckeyes! I always wanted to become a teacher and come from a large family of teachers. I look forward to getting to know my students this year!
