Are there any grammar or spelling mistakes? (Use your tools but rereading is also important here to catch errors)
Does my claim statement answer the essential question directly? (See your notes for examples)
Is my claim clear, concise, and strong? (See your notes for examples)
Does my supporting evidence include context? (See your notes for examples)
Does my supporting evidence include a quote/paraphrase of a reading or a description of an image? (See your notes for examples)
Does my supporting evidence include an analysis? (See your notes for examples)
Did I include proper citation where necessary? (See your In-Text Citation guide for examples)
Is my writing academic?
Does my writing flow? Meaning are there choppy sentences, monotony, redundancy, weak organization, wordiness, lack of connection, etc. that should be revised?
Once your DBQ is completed and thoroughly edited & revised you should STUDY for Friday's vocabulary quiz using your paper flashcards or digital flashcards HERE.
