School opening in chinese new year holiday

Whilst the school will be staffed by administrators during the upcoming Chinese New Year Break, please note that it will be completely closed from noon on Thursday 15 February to give staff an early release on the eve of Chinese New Year.

Student Council and Diversity Week March 5-9

Student Council representatives are busily working on developing a range of workshops and activities for Diversity Week. Our theme is 'Generation Me' promoting a greater awareness and understanding of inclusiveness within and beyond our community. Guest speakers and classroom learning will build upon this theme in both primary and secondary classrooms.

In addition, our learners will be performing and participating in a whole school assembly in the gymnasium on Thursday 8th March between 9am - 10am. Parents and friends are invited to enjoy a parade of flags representing our community.

If you would like to offer a cultural food or activity stall on Thursday 8th between 12noon and 2.30pm then please email newman.m@nexus.edu.sg and help celebrate our cultural diversity.

CCAs and Sport Season 3

The CCA portal is now open for learners (or parents of children from Year 2 to Year 4) to select sports they would like to do for ACSIC season 3. A summary of the key dates is provided here.

The portal closes on Wednesday 21 February, 5.00pm

ACSIS Season 3 Sport Trainings begins

CCAs

Season 2 has now come to and end and there are no CCAs running when we return from the CNY break. Music ensembles, mother tongue, swimming and sport training will continue as normal.

The CCA portal will open on Thursday 1st March, and you will receive further information about what CCAs are available.
