Well done to these learners in Science!
They have had a fantastic start to the academic year and have shown themselves this month to be superstars in their Science lessons here at Nexus! Congratulations.
This term, learners are building their physical 3D models for safe and affordable housing under the global context "Fairness and Development". Below are some of the 2D floor plans learners are using as a base for 3D modelling. They are learning that scale and proportion affect how realistic their 2D floor plans are.
Please send any Redmart boxes to the Design Department to support our learners in building their 3D models.

Special mention to our learner, Sai Subramanian in Y12 who entered the 2022 Immerse Education Essay Competition. The competition received thousands of entries from students attending leading schools all over the world. The judges commented on the extremely high quality of essays they received this year across all categories. Sai's essay has been recognised as one of the highest calibre of entries this year and consequently, he has been awarded a partial scholarship to take part in an Engineering programme this summer at either Oxford or Cambridge.
Well done, Sai for seizing the opportunity and putting your talents to good use. We are sure you will gain a lot from the Engineering programme.
