Nexus learners aged 12-17 years old that are keen to set up their own businesses in the future are encouraged to sign up for the Young Founders School entrepreneurship programme.
The programme starts with an Ideation Day where learners work with entrepreneurs to learn how to create their own solutions and develop questioning techniques to guide them to solve business problems. Learners who complete the Ideation Day are invited to then apply to join the Weekend Bootcamp where they will be given the training necessary to help them develop their business start-up idea into a fully formed business pitch. The winning team stands to win $1000 to put towards turning their business idea into reality.

Diversity week is a unique opportunity to celebrate the wide diversity from within our school community and to express ourselves in fun and diverse ways. It is about respecting and understanding ourselves and others and exploring the richness of our backgrounds, cultures and languages as an international community.
This learner-led week offers a plethora of fun activities including House competitions, music, dance, food, films, handicrafts and games from around the world.
On Friday the 25th of October learners are invited to dress up in a way that reflects who they are, which might reflect a national dress or a culture that they identify with. The culmination of the week will be that Friday lunchtime where there will be musical and dance performances to enjoy alongside a wide variety of learner and parent stalls.
