Term 2 Music Recital Videos are currently available to view.

Last term, our Instrumental Tutors worked alongside our young musicians during their lessons on a selected piece for the NEXUS Online Instrumental Recitals. Learners practised throughout the term to bring to you a range of instruments and music showcasing their individual talents to our Nexus community. Some of them selected Christmas Carols, for others, it was an ABRSM or Trinity Rock and Pop Examination piece and for some, just something fun!

The music recitals are now a regular event in our music calendar. We would like to invite learners who have instrumental lessons inside and outside of school to participate. If you missed out this term, don't forget to look out for details of the next one in our Newsletters.

At Nexus, we have a comprehensive Instrumental programme with over 200 learners and 12 specialist instrumental tutors. Lessons take place during the school day and after school at a cost of $50 per 30-minute session.

We are currently accepting enrolment for new learners and can also offer trial lessons if your child is unsure of their instrument of choice.

This term is all about concerts and gigs!!!!

Finally, we are able to perform to a live audience and we are aiming to introduce some formal recitals, NEXUS Beats lunchtime gigs and some concerts into this year's school calendar. We encourage all of our Secondary learners who are interested in music to get involved!

Music Studios:

Our music department has had an uplift - come and check it out!

Music studios are open before school, snack, lunchtime and after school until 4pm.

Learners are asked to please follow these rules:

1. No food and drinks

2. Book your room by adding your name and tutor group to the booking panel before use

3. Maximum 5 pax to a room

4. Return all equipment used
