Last Thursday parents and friends were serenaded with a wonderful Music Recital consisting of our young musicians within the Nexus Primary School. 29 learners performed an array of music, and all ages and abilities were invited to perform. From beginner violinists to learners taking ABRSM Grade 5 music exams the talent, commitment and confidence displayed was exceptional.
The many hours of practise and dedication over the term has been immense and clearly showed with polished and professional performances from everyone. The entire event was learner led with the musicians encouraged to introduce themselves, project their voices rather than using microphones, perform and of cause accept the audience wonderful applause with a bow!
The intimate setting provided enabled the audience to be up close and personal, with mums and dads enjoying refreshments and a front row seat!
Congratulations to all of our learners who participated, and a huge thank you to the NEXUS Instrumental Tutors who have been teaching and supporting our learners in preparation for the concert.
