Mother Tongue Programme

Arabic, Danish, French, German, Hindi, Korean, Polish and Spanish.

During our recent Welcome Evening, there was some interest from a number of families where one or more of above languages are spoken at home. A significant number of you were keen for your child or children to have a weekly, paid language class here at Nexus.

We would like to further develop our programme where possible and to create opportunities both formally and informally where learners who speak a home language other than English can maintain and develop their language together with other learners. We are currently measuring interest in the following languages and have contacted those families of learners in Years 1 to 11 who may speak these languages at home according to our records. If that email did not reach you, or if you have not already responded via the form, we invite you to click on the language name below to to complete the appropriate form.
