The NPG NEEDS You:

Without the active and generous participation of our parent volunteers, the Nexus family would not be the strong, thriving, and supportive community that it is! The Nexus Parent Group exco remains on the look-out for parents (all parents are Members of the NPG) to assist in school life and activities. We all have differing amounts of time that we can commit to and add to the vibrancy of the School community, so whether you can donate a lot or a little of your time to the Committee, we welcome you. Please drop me a line at npg@nexus.edu.sg.

Please approach any of the team in the NPG Room at any time to discuss and volunteer your assistance and please keep an eye on our re-vamped Facebook page – Nexus Parents Group.

Year-End Drinks:

31 May, 7pm. Year End Parent Drinks, Hollandse Club. The NPG is hosting its year-end drinks party at Jax’s Bistro & Pizzeria, Hollandse (Dutch) Club, 22 Camden Park (off Adam Road). You DO NOT have to be a Member of the Hollandse Club and there is NO ticket price this year. The NPG is covering each guest’s first drink (by coupon and before 8pm) and some finger food will be provided. This is a casual affair to meet parents and celebrate another successful year in the Nexus community. If you know of families who are starting with or considering a move to Nexus, please feel free to ask them to join us.

Next Committee Meeting:

Whenever possible, NPG meetings occur on the first Thursday morning of the month in the NPG Room. There won’t be one for June, but we will recommence with meetings on the Thursday 23 August 2018. I have chosen Thursday 23 August to allow almost all families to return to Nexus following mid-year break.

Uniform Donation:

For those families leaving us at the end of the school year, we thank you for your involvement, for being a part of our unique community, and we wish you all the very best for the future! We do add that you are welcome to donate school uniforms, if you wish by leaving them in the NPG.

13 August, 8:30am. Welcome One and All Coffee Morning, hosted by Nexus Faculty. C-Pod.
