Inter-house Swim Galas

On Wednesday 17 and Thursday, 18 April, all Primary School learners will be taking part in our annual Inter-house Swim Galas. These will be held at the Nexus Swimming Pool.

All learners have been developing their swim skills throughout the academic year in their aquatic-based Health and Physical Education lessons. This will be an opportunity for all learners to put those skills into practice and 'have a go'. The focus of the day will be on participation in a fun and encouraging environment, and working together with learners in their house teams. Please note that classes will run as normally timetabled for the remainder of the day.

Please feel free to come along at the times mentioned below to support your child/ward and join in the house spirit.

Wednesday, 17 April

Nursery: 9.00am - 9.40am

Kindergarten and Year 1 : 10.00am - 11.45am

Years 2 - 3: 1.30pm - 3.10pm

Thursday, 18 April

Years 4 - 6: 8.40am - 10.40am

Please also ensure your child/ward brings the following items to school on the Wednesday or Thursday:

• House T-Shirt (available at Bibi and Baba). In exceptional circumstances when you are unable to purchase the correct colour/size, a plain t-shirt of the correct colour may be used (your child/ward’s house colour can be found on the Parent Portal).
• Suitable swimsuit, towel and goggles
• Hat and Sun Block (also available at the pool)
• An extra healthy snack and water bottle
• Learners may also choose to show their house spirit by wearing caps in their house colour
