We would like to remind all Year 5 parents that there is an information session regarding the 1:1 Digital Device program for Year 6 at 7:15am on Monday morning, after the Year 5 learners leave for their residential trip.
The information session will give you further insight into how our 1:1 digital device programme works in Year 6 and beyond and the options you will be able to explore with your child.
Some light refreshments will be available.
We encourage all Year 5 parents to attend this important information session.
On Thursday, 28 February 2019 at 5.30pm we will be holding our Transition Evening for Year 6 parents.
During the evening, we will talk to you in detail about the curriculum and opportunities that we offer in Years 7 to 13 and share with you the programme of activities and taster sessions that all Year 6 learners will take part in later on in the academic year to prepare them for their time in Year 7 and beyond. After an initial presentation, some key members of the Secondary team will be on hand to answer questions over refreshments about the Secondary School programmes and life in Year 7.
We look forward to seeing you all and supporting your child to make a strong transition into Secondary School.
A friendly reminder to all Year 6 parents that the Langkawi residential trip is fast approaching. Next week we will be helping your children prepare and we hope you can take some time to do the same. It is sure to come upon us very quickly so start packing bags and getting ready!
The amazing Andy Gleadhill, a professional percussionist who provides world music workshops worldwide, will be joining Year 1 and 2 on Monday, 25 of February. All the learners will have a go at African drumming and explore a variety of genres of music. Andy will also be sharing with the children his vast knowledge on how and why cultures use drums and percussions to communicate and celebrate.
If you’re parents or guardians of a Year 1 or 2 child, please check the HUB for videos and pictures of the workshops!
