Change to Friday Assembly Times

Please note that from 8 March there will be a change to our Friday assembly times. Assemblies for Years 3 to 6 will take place at 8.30am. Assemblies for Years 1 and 2 will take place at noon. As always, parents are welcome to attend although we do understand that an assembly in the middle of the day may be more difficult to attend. The reason we are changing the assembly time is to allow our Nursery and Kindergarten learners to start to join us for some of these assemblies. As our Phase 1 learners are more settled in school we start to involve them in the wider life of the school.

After School Supervision

We are impressed with how well our learners play at snack and lunchtime. They show respect to each other, they take responsiblity for the equipment and toys they use and they keep the areas clean and tidy. They also make sure they keep themselves and others safe by playing appropriately and in the correct areas of the school. Our staff reinforce these expectations on a regular basis.

Unfortunately there have been an increasing number of incidents of children not being properly supervised after school, leading to them having accidents or making poor choices. Please may we remind all parents and guardians that children must be closely supervised after school so everyone has a safe and enjoyable time after school.

If children are not closely supervised they will be asked to leave the campus immediately after school ends.

Please also make sure that children do not ride bikes or scooters on campus. There is high foot-traffic and it is easy for someone to get injured. Scooters and bikes should be stored in the designated 'parking bays'. We strongly encourage them to be security tagged and locked as we have a large number of external clubs that make use of our campus in the evenings and at weekends.

CCA Season 3 begins next week...

Just a reminder that the CCA Season 3 sign up has now closed and all allocations have been made. You can view your CCAs by logging on to the portal. All music ensembles, swimming and mother tongue programmes will also continue.

Monday 25 February - CCA Season 3 starts

Friday 19 April - Good Friday - CCAs will not run as it is a public holiday

Wednesday 1 May - Labour Day - CCAs will not run as it is a public holiday

Friday 17 May - Season 3 CCA ends
