Given the current situation with Covid-19 and in line with the MOE, MOH and CPE guidelines, we have unfortunately had to suspend our usual Transition Evening on Tuesday, the 10th of March. At Nexus, we always love this evening as it is a great chance to meet and chat to parents about how we support our learners to transition onto that exciting next step in their learning journey. Our Secondary teachers love to get to know you and want to understand your child better in order to truly engage and inspire them through new subjects such as Humanities, Drama and Science, to name but a few.
We have selected the most useful slides from our Transition Evening presentation to give you a flavour of our Secondary School.
Although we can't meet you in person, we would like to communicate informally online and help to answer any questions you may have about our Secondary School. We have an amazing team of teachers, learning support teachers, specialist Bilingual and Multilingual language teachers, two school Counsellors, and a Careers Guidance Counsellor who are all available to help answer your questions. If you do wish to ask a question, please click the button ASK US A QUESTION and we will provide the answers and more updates in the following newsletter (anonymously!). Of course, if anyone would like to meet privately, our door is always open.
We very much look forward to welcoming you and your family into the Secondary School.
Normally we would be chatting in person but if you have any specific questions, our team would love to meet you, either one-to-one or pop them an email and we can arrange a chat.
