Existing learners in our Mother Tongue Language programme
We hope that your child has benefitted from his or her Mother Tongue language classes this year. If you wish, please provide any feedback by email to mothertongue@nexus.edu.sg
Our programme in 2019-2020
Providing that we have suitable interest, we intend to offer the same languages from August: Danish, French, Hindi, Italian, Japanese and Polish for learners from Years 1 to 6. Please look out for an email before our return in August, where you will be able to express your interest in our existing, continuing classes or, alternatively, suggest your interest in a language that is not currently on offer here at Nexus.
An urgent announcement regarding possible Korean language classes
We have been looking into the possibility of establishing a weekly Korean language class. Thank you to those who attended our meeting earlier this semester and for your initial expressions of interest. An email was sent last week to those families we are aware of who speak Korean at home requesting them to indicate firm interest and to find the best fit day. If you have not already done so, PLEASE COMPLETE THIS SHORT FORM by next Monday, 17 June. We will contact you soon afterwards to confirm the most popular day for the lessons.

Where and when can you buy the NEW uniform
We will have a shop set up in school for you to try on sizes and purchase.
Monday, 22 July to Friday, 2 August, 9am to 4pm
Online purchases will be available from Monday, 22 July though our Parent Zone website.
Pricing
We are doing our utmost to keep our prices at a similar cost to our previous supplier whilst still factoring in your requests for better quality and sustainability.
Old Uniform
Knowing that not all parents will be replacing uniform for August 2019, there will be a transition period where the current uniform can be worn until August 2020.
We are looking to keep the beige shorts / skorts / trousers but change the material and fit as per your feedback. Should you not wish to purchase new items from August 2020 it will be acceptable to wear your current set.

We are delighted to be sharing some feedback with you following on from a Q&A session between members of the senior leadership team and our parents about the new school.
In this document you will find responses to questions on topics such as transport, school uniform, our community feel, the building design and layout and transitions to the new school. We will continue to update you on further developments via the newsletter; and from August 2019 via a new area on the Parent's Zone titled 'our new school'. This will become your 'one stop shop' for information about the move and our exciting new school in Aljunied.
Please have a look at the responses in the document, as we have tried to address as many questions as possible. If you do find that you have more questions about our new school, do get in touch through our usual channels.
